I read an article on CNN today about Israel and I was shocked by some facts that I learned.
I grew up in Las Vegas as a Mexican American born in the US. I can relate to the paragraph in the photo that I attached to my post. It says that farm workers from Thailand work in Israel for six years, but they are not allowed to have families there.
Las Vegas has been run by Israeli mayors for decades. It feels like Israel, where Mexican Americans are only good for manual labor and not for having families.
It feels like Israel, where only white people and a few others can succeed and prosper. It doesn't matter if someone like me has patents worth billions of dollars.
I have no rights at the end of the day!
This paragraph was an eye-opener for me.
This is how our ally Israel treats its farm workers.
This strategy has been imported to the US. As a Mexican American, I have to move to Texas from Nevada to have a chance of having a family or some dignity in my life. I only have about 20 years left until I reach the average life span of 78 years old.
I feel cheated and enslaved after reading what happens in Israel and how they treat their farm workers.
All I can say is...

Hoy leí un artículo en CNN sobre Israel y me sorprendieron algunos hechos que aprendí.
Crecí en Las Vegas como un estadounidense de origen mexicano. Puedo identificarme con el párrafo en la foto que adjunté a mi publicación. Dice que los trabajadores agrícolas de Tailandia trabajan en Israel durante seis años, pero no se les permite tener familias allí.
Las Vegas ha sido gobernada por alcaldes israelíes durante décadas. Se siente como Israel, donde los mexicano-americanos solo son buenos para el trabajo manual y no para formar familias.
Se siente como Israel, donde solo las personas blancas y algunos otros pueden tener éxito y prosperar. No importa si alguien como yo tiene patentes valoradas en miles de millones de dólares.
¡Al final del día, no tengo derechos!
Este párrafo fue revelador para mí.
Así es como nuestro aliado Israel trata a sus trabajadores agrícolas.
Esta estrategia se ha importado a los Estados Unidos. Como mexicano-americano, tengo que mudarme de Nevada a Texas para tener la posibilidad de formar una familia o tener algo de dignidad en mi vida. Solo me quedan alrededor de 20 años hasta alcanzar la esperanza de vida promedio de 78 años.
Me siento engañado y esclavizado después de leer lo que sucede en Israel y cómo tratan a sus trabajadores agrícolas.
